History

The Beginning (2009)

The idea originates from a team project (Benjamin Erb, Christian Koch, Stefan Kaufmann) as part of the elective course Ubiquitous Computing at the University of Ulm. It began with background research work, where we explored the basics of distributed reporting during a seminar in 2009.

Prototype Implementation (2010)

In 2010, one term later, we applied our previous results and implemented a prototype platform for distributed reporting. This first platform included a service implementation and different mobile clients, including an Android application and an uplink device for SLR cameras.

Rich Web Client (2010)

At the same time, a team of students (Achim Strauß, David Langer & Tobias Schlecht) specialized on Interactive Systems joined our team. They contributed the prototype of a Rich Web Application for the platform.

Follow-up project – diretto.resc (2010-2011)

Benjamin Erb and Tobias Schlecht have been working on the follow-up project diretto.resc since november 2010 as part of a scholarship by the MFG.
